Sketch & Source
Each design begins as a pencil drawing, inspired by organic forms and the natural world. We then source ethical gemstones and recycled metals, selecting every element for its unique character and provenance.
At Forge & Fleur, we believe jewellery should carry a story you can feel. Each piece is shaped in our sunlit studio through patient, small-batch making — never mass-produced, never rushed. We celebrate the slight unevenness of a hand-forged curve, the quiet warmth of a brushed finish, and the quiet confidence that comes from wearing something made just for you.
Our process honors time-honored metalsmithing techniques paired with an eye for modern simplicity. From the first sketch to the final polish, every step is guided by thoughtful finishing and a deep respect for the materials we shape. The result is an heirloom-quality piece that feels both deeply personal and effortlessly wearable.

Our Craft
Every piece of handmade jewellery for women at Forge & Fleur carries the quiet intention of its maker. Discover the four stages that transform raw materials into wearable art.

Each design begins as a pencil drawing, inspired by organic forms and the natural world. We then source ethical gemstones and recycled metals, selecting every element for its unique character and provenance.

Using traditional metalsmithing techniques, we shape, hammer, and solder each component. The subtle textures — a brushed finish, a hammered surface — are created entirely by hand, ensuring no two pieces are ever identical.

Every piece is polished, set, and inspected under natural light. Stone settings are checked for security, clasps are tested for smooth movement, and surfaces are refined until they feel as good as they look.

Before it reaches you, each piece is nestled in recycled packaging with a handwritten note. We believe the unboxing should feel like a gift — even if the gift is for yourself.
Every piece begins with an intentional selection of elements chosen for their warmth, durability, and the way they feel against the skin.

We work primarily with sterling silver, brass, and 14k gold-fill — metals that develop a living patina over time. Each component is hand-forged, hammered, or cast in small batches, never mass-produced. The result is a piece that feels substantial yet soft, with a warmth that only hand-finishing can bring.

Texture is a quiet language in our work. We incorporate raw silk cords, hand-spun linen wraps, and smooth river-worn stones into select designs. These elements ground each piece in the natural world, creating a sensory experience that goes beyond the visual — inviting touch, curiosity, and a deeper connection to the handmade.

Receiving a piece from Forge & Fleur is an experience in itself. Every order is wrapped in a reusable linen pouch, tucked into a hand-stamped kraft box, and finished with a sprig of dried lavender. We believe the unboxing should feel as intentional as the piece inside — a moment of quiet ritual that honours both the maker and the wearer.
Each piece from Forge & Fleur is crafted with intention, using natural metals and delicate finishes that deserve mindful care. With a few simple rituals, your unique handcrafted jewelry gifts will retain their beauty for generations, developing a character that is entirely your own.
Ask Our Studio →Remove your jewellery before applying perfumes, lotions, or household cleaners. Chemicals can accelerate tarnishing and damage delicate finishes.
Keep each piece in its own soft pouch or a lined jewellery box to prevent scratches and tangling. Silver and gold-filled pieces benefit from anti-tarnish strips.
Use the provided polishing cloth with light, even strokes. Avoid liquid dips or abrasive cleaners, which can remove intentional patinas and soften textured details.
Chlorine and saltwater are corrosive to precious metals and can permanently damage gemstones. Always remove your pieces before entering a pool, hot tub, or the ocean.
If desired, embrace the gentle darkening that comes with wear. A natural patina adds depth and tells the story of your handmade jewellery for women — a living finish unique to you.
